English 11 Homework: 

1. Synthesis Essay: "The Smile" and "The Pedestrian." 

First: You are reading the two texts carefully, and creating an OUTLINE for your Essay, creating bullets of synthesis to help you when you write the Essay.

I will approve your Outline before you write.

Please look up terms and/or other things that you do not know, that you need to understand. 

**You will be writing the Synthesis Essay, beginning Wednesday the 14th.

English 11 Homework for Monday 22nd:

1. You are working on your The short stories, "The Day They Set Out" by Beverly Harris...,  and "Tuesday Siesta." 

You will be presenting your work on Thursday. Work over the Weekend and get together with your group on Monday to Wednesday, and present on Thursday.

English 11: Friday 15th:

1. You are working on your Synthesis Essay that will be due on October the 16th. Be on task, and build a well-developed essay, and excellent thesis.

English 11 Homework for Wednesday, October 10:

1. Continue working on the Synthesis Essay.

The Essay will be due Monday, October 16.
